Fructose And Glycogen......
when your liver glycogen levels are completely filled up, and you consume more fructose, HOWEVER you are still under maintenance calories or not above much over maintenance does the remaining fructose just get used as glucose (energy) or does fat store, when liver glycogen levels are filled does the remaining fructose ever go towards glycogen in the muscles or is it just used as energy.
my doctor/nutritionist confused the sh*t out of me today so this is why i am asking. he said some sh*t about triglycerides and how immediate over consumption and over excessing the liver with more fructose is horrible for muscle gain and blah blah blah

But how can anything be stored as fat if you're in caloric deficit?
p.s.
Fructose replenishes muscle glycogen, just not as efficiently.
And hey! Fructose replenishes LIVER glycogen. When in caloric deficit I want my liver (with some fava beans and a nice Chianti) glycogen to be replenished!

Glycogen stores in the muscle are intermediate to that of the liver. The concentration of glycogen in the muscles would be significantly less. Any remaining fructose/glucose, that has not been stored or used, would be converted to fat. Theres also the event in which fatty acids will form triglycerides, which is a lipid that also acts as a source of energy.
I don't think I even answered your question, but I'm replying anyway.

Here is a review of what your doctor is talking about.

I think it is primarily talking about the increase in frutose intake through sources such as HFCS. Let me know what you think though becuase I also found this interesting.

wat? Muscle glycogen stores are much larger than the liver

I'm strictly referring to the concentration levels. The glycogen in the liver is more readily available and has to reach other organs. I could be wrong/mistaken/got my info mixed up.

Come at me, bro!
When you are underfed, excess fructose is used as energy. When you are eating above maintenance, the molecules are rearranged and stored as fat or used to supply energy for other anabolic processes. But the fructose is not special in this sense. This applies to all excess calories.
