    Whey Protein and Caffeine

    I dont know if this is the right section if not sorry, basically just wondering would taking Whey Protein and say a cup of Black Tea be okay? As tea has a little bit of caffeine and didnt know if this effects it at all?

    It's fine, unless you have problems with caffeine. The whey won't cause any trouble. Sometimes I mix a little whey with some black coffee right before the gym.

    I've heard about avoiding drinking caffeine and creatine in a short space of time, but never anything about it not mixing with protein. I have an espresso immediately before doing my workout, 30 mins after drinking a protein shake, and this works well for me.

    Sorry i didnt mean mix them together its just at work i have a 'tea break' in morning and i have some whey protein and fruit at that time so i wanted to know if having whey protein and a seperate cup of tea soon after would be okay as its in a short amount of time?
