Refeed on an off/rest day?
Would it be alright to refeed on a rest day?

Run until it hurts
You can refeed whenever you want but it'd be a better option to refeed on a day where you workout so that you can have an amazing workout.

I plan on starting the refeed later in the afternoon (lol superbowl) after fasting for the majority of the morning/day, then workout early the next morning. Would this be alright?

Heya cumulo, could you phrase that in layman terms, because I am really interested to know as well.
So far, I'v been doing a mini refeed after each workout. But a few days back, I kinda binged a bit by accident the night before a workout, and had a kick ass workout (broke a few PRs). Which made me wonder if I should place my refeeds the night before workouts, or after workouts?

In my experience I have crappy workouts if I work out on refeed days. I feel lethargic and sleepy. If I work out the day after my refeed/off day I get RIDICULOUS pumps and have awesome energy.

Not Swimming.
I often get people to refeed on off days, especially if they do it later in the day the night before a big workout.
Not only an excellent way to recover + gives good hormonal responses to refeeding, but often people are MORE hungry on rest days (inactivity + hunger = storage time for body...) thus, if people are at risk of 'overeating' - you may as well make it PART of the diet.

What exactly is a mini refeed after every workout??? Do you understand the concept of a refeed?? Something by that statement makes me think not. Seems you just eat carbs after your workout. Big difference.
