    Smile PR and max's for the week

    This week I did one rep max's at my gym. I also had PRs on all my lifts.

    Hexbar dead lift 405lbs
    Power clean 195lbs
    Front squat 275lbs
    Bench press 175lbs (by far my most disappointing lift. I've always been horrible at benching but I am determined to change that)

    I was horrible with pull-ups. Would be able to do 10 reps in one set. I actually did thirty reps yesterday....looking to do three sets of thirty.

    I know this might sound ridiculous but for the 5 years that I've trained at the gym on and off I've rarely trained arms and specially biceps so I'm pretty thrilled that I got 75lbsx6 ez-bar curl. It's those small things I guess :P.

    In 4 weeks I went from 185 X 12 to 205 X 12. (total failure). Never was much for endurance so these higher reps are all new. Used to only do sets of 3-5.

    Yesterday, I hit a new personal best for deadlifts. I usually do a 3 rep max (although I felt like I could've done a couple more). Dead lifted 225 for 3 reps.

    Today, I'm hoping to reach 85 lb dumbbells for flat bench chest press, but I feel a little under the weather (probably overtraining).

    I got challenged last night and set a new PR. A friend bet I couldn't do 35 reps of flat dumb bell bench press with a pair of 25 pounders. I nailed it.

    It doesn't sound like much but shoulders and chest have always been trouble spots for me. My bench was always my worst lift besides over head press.

    Non lift related, I managed a sub 8min mile today (7min41s) for the first time at 242lbs. Never been good at running since I've always been waaay overweight, so I'm currently both lighter, faster and stronger than I've ever been.

    And I'm only going to get better!
    81lbs down, 36 to go.

    Keep at it! I wasn't able to do pull ups 6 months ago and now I can do sets of 8. You have to start somewhere! The best feeling is seeing your progress and being able to do things you weren't able to before. Great stuff...

    Barbell Bench 260 pounds today, full ROM. Weighed in at 170 this morning. That's more than 1.5x my bodyweight.

    I'm cutting and still making great strength gains. #winning
