Got 18 plates on Leg press today for 10reps, just 12 more to go to get to where I was 5 years ago at 30 plates, although this time I'm not eatting like I used to either lol. Also almost got nmy leg extentions up to 180lbs my old record. I give it 2 months and I should be smashing my all time bests like crazy.

Hell yes this thread is what I need. I tried making one in the fatloss forum and noone thought it was a good enough idea to post.

    http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=5plzie&s=7

That is a video of my 415lb PR. Since then I have worked on my form and started pulling off a platform instead of off the ground. it increases the ROM tremendously and has helped my off the floor strength ALOT, just need to do some grip training. Static holds here I come

    NICE repped

Hit a PR on Deadlifts today too, 20lb pr, 435lbs. Failed on 455 but the lift was doomed from the start when my hips shot up. Still got it to about my knees though

37.5 lbs dumbbell front raise (6 reps). When I first started I used to do 20 lbs.
65 lbs dumbbell shoulder press (8 reps). When I first started I used to do 30 lbs.

    Cool thread

I started out on the bench with just the bar for weight. monday I go in knowing that I will put 25lbs on either side as well. in one short month, I gained 50lbs on my bench. and I did a pushup for the first time straight back, the way you should. I did it, and I struggled to do it. but it felt ****ing amazing. Like I could take on anything.
I remember when I couldn't do a single pushup. Took me months till I could do one pushup. Keep the progress coming

had a great workout the past 3 days... just got back from a week in vegas (spring break). felt small and am exhausted.. still worked out tho..

    went jogging today, 3 miles = 24:57
and all my lifts are still relatively the same...

guess the "taking a week off will loose gains" is bro science.. its all in your head!

"taking a week off will loose gains" is pure bro science. In fact taking a week off will BOOST your gains and strength. One of the best plateau busters. But I gotta say, 3 miles, kudos to you midniteOG, I haven't done cardio since March 2010, so it's officially been a year!

300lbs ain't little man. Yeah you're right, if you did 300 for 10 then you could've done more. Hopefully your next post on here would be "Squat 320" or even 350!!

No beast numbers for you guys, but I gained about 30lbs prior to deployment and my goal by the time I left was to get down to 180 (realistic goal)

Came out here at 226, been here a little over 3 months, and am 5lbs away from my 180 goal! Pretty excited..

There's nothing like realizing you're so close to your goal. You've reached too far, only a few more pounds to lose!

Oh and I leg pressed 316 KG today, 8 repetitions.

hit PR with confidence, motivation, view on life, and etc. recently. that counts more than any lift! haha but I've been moving up on my lifts, and supersetting arms has been a great success. Every time I finish an exasperating superset I thought I couldn't do....idk I kinda go berserk....good thing I W.O. at home prolly...
I thank God for my success.
