i wanted to be a Marine. then i wanted to be a medic, and i dont want to be in the navy.
Psalm 64:1-6
Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy. Hide me from the secret counsel of evildoers, From the tumult of those who do iniquity, Who have sharpened their tongue like a sword. They aimed bitter speech as their arrow, To shoot from.
MFC: They hate us because of our freedom.
I carry a .40S&W because i couldn't make up my mind.

Because we dont have anything to fear from a little friendly competition with a hatchet wound?
If you dont let them in, there is no chance for them to prove themselves worthy.
I've known a few females that have been through Sapper school.
They smoke the **** out of your average infantry company in PT, by the MALE standardMFC

CIA Paramilitary operator > all.
Only the CIA can legally carry out assassinations and other such covert operations. Only CIA agents can legally exercise plausible deniability (if a CIA agent is caught, his chain of command can deny any involvement, or knowledge of what the agent did) Most CIA paramilitary agents come from various special operations units.

Good info all around. Much respect for anybody who can do tier 2 operator gigs. I sure as hell couldn't last a day hah.
Back on topic, my brother is in the Marines. My cousins are/were in the Army. Last time we were able to get together my cousins just ragged on my brother about being a Marine. They compared it to that "I WANT AN iPHONE" youtube video hah.
Whyd you slap us in the face and join the marines anyways?
I don't know I just wanted to be a Marine
But why?
Because I wanted to be a Marine
Well why not the army?
Because the army isn't the marine core.
It went on like this for like 30mins hah. I suppose you just have to be in the marines to understand it?Working out, like life, is a long lesson in humility.

I worked with alot of Marines. They all pretty much told me the same thing...if you have to think twice about joining the Marines, then you are not a Marine.
They are a unique breed. I respect them alot. Other branches say you are a "Soldier, Sailor, Airman" First, job second...honestly I think the Marines are the only branch that truly means this.
Also when you ask a Soldier thats in the Army, "what do you do?"..answer is usually "I am in the Army"...ask a Marine the same question...they will usually answer "I am a Marine".
anyways, people join the different branches for different reasons, ie job, bases/ports, personal challenges.
