Hey,
A few years back I was taking superpump as a pre-workout. I loved this supp and it really got me through my workouts (My heart did feel like it was pounding out of my chest). However, I was taking a lifetime wellness course at college and we took everyones blood pressure. Prior, the professor had asked if we worked out regularly and two of us raised our hands. After taking our blood pressure its was the two of us that had the bad blood pressure. I was about 20 at the time. I can't specifically recall what the numbers were (around 160/90 I would say). Either way I went to my doctor and talked to him about what I had taken and he said that it could be the cause and I should stop taking the supp for about 2 weeks and then check my blood pressure. Alas, my blood pressure had returned to normal. I was wondering if any other pre-workout users have found the same thing/ if that can even be health for you/ or if it was just the superpump supp?
Thanks,
-Sloth
I have not returned to a pre-workout and some of my workouts have been cut short, 2 cups of coffee have sometimes helped without raising BP but not like it used to.
