Dawn of war 2 retribution beta

Hey was seeing if anyone else got the beta for this? I played last DoW2 xpac a bit but never got into the online play even though it seemed so awesome, but the windows live action sucked hard, but this time it uses steam. This is an online only beta

If you want to try the beta for this its real easy to get a key. You can register at the THQ.com site but that didn't work for me. Instead just send an email to community@relic.com
asking for a key. I sent them an email and it took them probably 10 minutes to send me back a key then just activate it on steam.

I suck for sure but would love some people to play multiplayer with seems like a sweet game but high learning curve

Hoes does DoW2 compare to DoW?

CoH will go down as one of the GOAT titles for me, and I kinda liked DoW, but never tried DoW2.

I never played CoH sadly, but from what I have read if you like CoH you will love dow2, not like dow1, a lot more small squad based like coh

*this only applies for DoW2 multiplayer, i haven't played retribution because i forgot to register for beta *

Dow 2 is a little different but generally the same, in Dow2 retreating your troops is just as important or even more so than it is in Coh. There is no basebuilding in DoW2 but you do get one already built HQ building during hte start of the match, it's where you recruit all your units from. You also start with a hero character of your choosing (every race has atleast 3 and you get to choose 1 ). Your hero unit is your most important.

Besides the above( and i'm sure i'm forgetting one or two) the game pretty much handles like CoH.

wtf. this game is a reskinned CoHO...even the MG sounds exactly the same
