There is no such thing as either of those muscles. You have a tricep with lateral, medial and long heads. There is no upper and lower. You have a pectoral minor and major. Ones on top of the other, not seperated laterally. Just like there's no such thing as upper and lower abs.

Medial head is the lowest part of the triceps, so perhaps that is what he was referring to.

Pec major is comprised of two heads.

You can emphasize the upper and lower regions of abdominals.

That being said, the OP still deserves to be negged for creating an identical thread 50 minutes after his first that had his questions answered.

    Still wrong.
Pec major, Pec minor, thats all.
Abdominals are one muscle sheeth, only seperation is due to tendons running across them. As much as you hope you feel like your working your "lower" abs, those only come out from fat loss.
Stick with anatomy, not BB mags.

Read some studies to see how you are wrong about abs:

So you are saying multiple heads inside a single muscle do not make a difference?

Also, compartmentalization has been proven to exist. By anecdotal evidence in the gym and studies done in the last decade. Perhaps you should brush up on your literature instead of spouting off the same tired horsesh*t from the past.

You seem to be an intelligent and experienced lifter.

Can you explain, please, then, how bodybuilders manage to fix lagging parts of body parts, without making the whole thing even bigger and bad for judging or simply for appearance?

bb.com, a place that turned Deadlift into a forearm isolation exercise

and a place where 99% of 21 year olds have bad back and knees.
