He had some pretty decent sized delts for being over 6ft tall. Why though did they seem to totally shrink when he stopped competing? People could easily say it was due to that fact that he stopped using gear but his arms remained around the same size. Did he have genetically poor shoulder development? Or I know there are some photos of him in the late 70's where he was super skinny due to him getting involved in marathons etc. I mean he was significantly smaller when he came back in 1980.

it seems even early on his arms always overpowered his delts, he didn't have much of a cap or width to them even though his arms were already well developed. it's just one of his genetically weaker muscle groups.

Exactly. High doses of it cap the shoulders out. It's commonly known that it has this effect.
And no, I'm not suggesting it changes the shape, just amplifies it quite a bit making them very round and capped. Why do you think none of the guys from the 70's had shoulders like the guys do today? It's not because guys have superior genetics today, the difference is GH use, that's all.Welcome to thunder dome, bitch.

Explain to me why pretty much every competitor now has round capped shoulders whereas hardly any (if at all compared to today) of the guys from the 70's and early 80's pre-GH use didn't?
It's common knowledge with anyone who's used it at high doses that this is an effect it has. I am certainly not the first person to even say this so I honestly don't see what your problem is.Welcome to thunder dome, bitch.

injected androgens needs to first detach from their ester before they can attach to androgen receptors. In order to do this, the compound must be metabolizes, passed through the blood stream, and then seperated evenly throughout the body.
So, there is no way a spot injection will deliver more size to a specific muscle group based on active androgen receptors in the area. However, site specific shots can induce greater inflammation of the muscle fibers causing a heightened "repair" signal to be sent thus creating slightly larger muscle cells.I got no strings to hold me down

I think that drugs like esiclene stretch the muscle fascias (like synthol) and also provide an anabolic effect.
