Been doing this for a change for a few weeks.

Definitely recommend it, pumps and workouts feel much more satisfying. Who else does it? Shoter rest times, and more burst/power sets.

Anyone that makes a post not related to this thread, such as 1st, random string of numbers, in afer zyzz, etc. should all be collectively negged to oblivion.

the last time i did a split, which has been awhile, i did chest/back together.

liked the heck out of it.

*edit: just saw OP was askin' bout people who do/did chest/back twice a week...never mind, mine was from a 3 day split, hence only one day a week.

Only works if your on AAS, since recovery times are cut. Doing this while natural, and you will not have enough time to recuperate, this is the basis of what Dave Palumbo recommends to naturals, traing hard fewer times a week, rest more to repair that damage.

I'll do it every so often, but I'll normally switch between heavy and lighter weights.

For example, day one would be heavy back, moderate chest. Day two would be heavier chest, moderate back.

Did P90x chest and back workout last few weeks, definetly feels nice working them together but it's mostly bodyweight stuff, could be hard to implement it as a work out if your lifting heavy though

Just alternate lifts, training multiple body parts the same day is no big deal. Just do one lift for back, one for chest, etc. Gives the bodyparts more time to recover between exercises and you won't have to worry about tiring out before getting to a second muscle group.
