    raw oatmeal with milk?

is there anything wrong with eating oatmeal straight from the quaker oats can uncooked and mixing with milk? i don't like the mushy texture after it's cooked in water. i seen some vids of bodybuilders just mixing it in with their protein shake. so i assume there nothing wrong with this right? btw i'm trying to cut.

btw i assume eating oatmeal is much better than cereal right? the kind of cereal you find at the supermarket like honey nut cheerios, rasin bran, etc. just curious because the cereal always tout that they have a lot of (insert vitamin) and stuff like that. also their nutrition label shows that they have a ton of vitamins, but those are just added and aren't naturally in the product?

Just started this today. Got some steel cut oats 2.5 kg for 7$. Put 1 cup in coffe grinder, grind to powder form, mix with whey and milk and have about 850 calories. 600 cals per cup of the oats.

If I eat oatmeal at all, I mix it uncooked in a blender as part of a shake. I find it to be great this way, so no, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.
There is ALWAYS room for improvement.
