    Exclamation Whole food(post workout)

    I am looking for someone to give me some fast absorbing protein food I can take post workout.For carbs I take 50g dextrose but I need some protein untill I can save up for whey.Thanks in advance!

    You don't need "fast absorbing" dextrose and whey post workout, its a load of ****.

    Chicken and potatoe, steak and rice, ground beef and veggies etc will do the trick.

    Food u can bring to school? A sandwich? A tortilla wrap? Throw some grilled chicken breast in there( or water packed tuna) some veggies, maybe some cheese?

    Just had 1.25 cups of oatmeal with a cup of 2% milk, and 3 whole eggs and 3 whites. Yesterday: 100g pasta and 8 oz chicken breast. Have whatever you want post workout, and as stated before.. the whole insulin spike thing is bull****, especially for the recreational trainee. Supplements are supplements. Eat food!!

    Supplement companies are some of the best marketers out there. They show pictures/videos of pro BBers that are on drugs and imply that by using their product you can get anywhere remotely close to that.

    You would not listen to someone you had caught in a lie before, so don't listen to supplement companies wither. You don't need them at any age.

    I used to use tuna cans whenever i was out of whey powder. I did 2 small tuna cans + 500mL of milk. Mainly because it was portable in a gym bag.

    Postworkout I usually drink a 1cup - 1 1/2 cups of milk (low fat choc or white), 1cup of oats, 2whole eggs, and 5 egg whites...I havent bought any whey for a couple of months now, and gains are still coming.
