The focus should be on proper daily nutrition, as total caloric intake and macro/micronutrient sufficiency will have a profound effect on bodyweight and composition, where a post workout meal will have functionally no impact beyond it's contribution to daily nutrition (assuming you're not in a depleted state and/or are engaging in multiple bouts of intensive intraday exercise).

i enjoy my cereal treats after workout, usually mixed with milk and whey. In your case if you dont want the supplements just have more milk
Also like others said.. Chocolate milk is awesome!!!IIFYM - Try to get most of your macros from whole foods. They are high in micronutrients and are needed to maintain overall health
