I ran f@h for a few years with EOCF's team (extreme overclocking forum). Had my own little 'farm' of a few pc's dedicated solely to f@h. It can become addicting when you start tracking your ppd. Best I ever did was average 10k ppd over a week and stayed in the 7-10k range for a few months. That was before GPU folding and the new huge WUs, well.. maybe they had just introduced the smp client. It appears they have increased the points per wu now. I live in an apartment and share an electric bill with two other people so I can't really run f@h anymore...

I completed it 2 times, it takes too long, can't keep my PS3 on. I still don't know what it does, but they told me that I'm helping with something important.

I did it for a couple years at XtremeSystems.org

If I remember right they are still one of the top teams in the world.
