Since everybody bashes cops, what's the coolest thing a cop has done for you?

Met these hot girls at McD's when I was 17, got their digits (was with my friend), they pulled out first and I pulled out behind them, passed them in a no passing zone, cop pulls me over, gave me the whole "I was 17 yrs old once", let me go with a warning.

In Oklahoma, where weed=trip to jail

Highway Patrol pulled me over, (no speeding ticket), asked me if I had anything illegal, i said no, told me they were going to K9 search my car, so I told him I had a jar of weed (1/4 oz) under the passenger seat, was about to **** myself while he went and got it from my car, came back and gave it to me, made me dump the weed out on the ground and step on it.

FUUUUIN CRAZY man i tried to give him a hug and he shoved me away laughing lol.

that was actually what made me stop smoking/doing drugs altogether. its fun but just not worth going to jail and messin up your record over

I use to carry around a screwdriver that I sharpened and the cop was searching me and let me go all I had to do was talk to a detective.

Was 16, blind drunk at a party in the middle of no where, cops broke it up. Me and a bud asked them for a lift home (as we were ****ing lost, and drunk) they said sure. Turned the lights on, went like 120 the whole way. Asked us how old we were and if we had gotten any that night.

Were solid blokes. We were lol'ing at stories the entire 20 minutes it took them to get us home. One of them gave me his card and said if i ever had any questions about the police force to hit him up.

Most of them took the job for the power. Just make them feel like they have it by being super respectful and subordinate and you'll get out of a ticket every time.

"Yes, sir. No, sir. Yes, I did run the light. It was stupid and I'm very sorry."

Be honest and respectful and you'll get off nearly every time.

Cops have done a lot of sh!tty things to me, but I'm following the protocol of the thread so I won't mention them.

arrested me when i was 17 and sent me to juvi for a week when he didn't have to. He said at the time that i won't realize it now but he is doing me a favor....and i would thank him later.

Well it was a sherrif, and he never said why but instead he had him call his brother (i was staying over that night) and had us come pick him up, other drive his car home and let him go.
