Just starting, did SS for a bit till i decided it wasn't exactly the best for my goals- I wanted to look good and worry about strength later. I was directed towards making splits and doing 6-12 exercises...will have to find out what that means later (I think im supposed to do 8 reps, then 9 reps, then 10 reps etc but not sure)
Anyway, how do i build a good split and days to hit areas? I want to develop chest and arms mostly.
STATS: 5'7
140 LBs
Can lift 70 Pounds + bar, not looking for immediate strength, fine with working it up slowly with increased reps and form and diet.

let me give you an example of why you shouldnt be doing a split, my bench press barely moved 20lbs in a WHOLE YEAR because i tried differnet routines, had layoffs and extra crap, i finally decided to do a simple routine hitting each bp 2x a week and with 3x5 bench and my bench has gone up 20lbs in 3 weeks, thats the idea behind rippetoes and other beginner programs, to make you gain like no other advanced bb'ing split, and yes im seeing better size results doing less sets and less isolation as well
