Ok I use fat free milk in my whey protein shakes (16oz per shake) and I have 2-3 a day. Is that too much milk to consume?? Will that not help with getting rid off the belly? I cardio 4-5 days a week, and weight train 4-5 days a week, and eat about 2700-3000 calories a day. I get my 1-1.5 grams of protein a day(mostly through shakes, and chicken breast). But I cant seem to shed the fat on my belly and chest area. What the hell am I doing wrong??

the protein shake i drink is ISS whey matrix, with fat free milk added(16oz) the shake totals are:
cals:420
carbs: 36
protein: 62
fat: 4
I dont eat more than 150 carbs in a day, and I get flenty of protein and fat from flax and nuts. I eat right and workout and do cardio, I dont get why I am not losing fat, dont wanna lose weight, just fat.
what else can be done??
foods I mainly eat: eggs, chicken breast, lean meats, turkey breast, ham, sometimes raisin bran for the fiber. Drink about 1.5 gallons of water a day.
supplements: Xenedrine RFA-1, ISS whey Matrix, L-glutamine by ISS, centrum multi vitamin, alpha lipoic acid 200mg a dayLast edited by SPbrandon; 05-30-2003 at 02:11 PM.

consume less calories. at 185lbs try knocking your intake to about 2000-2200 instead of 2700-3000 and you should be able to kickstart your fat loss. do it gradually. for 1 week get in about 2500 then the next week maybe knock it down to 2000-2200. hope this helps. any other thoughts?

I am going to start adding a table spoon of flax into one of my shakes per day also, I am building up the cardio time, but 20 is all i can do at once after weight training, I am gonna try to do it when i get up and see how that works, but for now 20 is all i can do.

don't TRY and do it when you wake up. DO it when you wake up.
just by saying your going to TRY your setting yourself up for failure and giving yourself an excuse....
"oh, well, I tried"
if you don't reach your goal it will be because your TRYING to do cardio and ESTIMATING your calories. If you DO your cardio and KNOW your calories you will succeed.
you want the results right ?

You are probably overtraining. Take a week off of weights and possibly cardio (don't do HIIT). When you get back to the weights, your body will finally have had a chance to supercompensate. Do this while reducing your calories as mentioned before. Chances are you will get a great pump, take a few days off after a cycle and start to appreciate rest a litte more...that while reducing your cals gradually to 2200 or so should do it.
