Seek a psychiatrist
I know its kinda a lame thing to us guys but maybe you could talk to a psychiatrist. Theres all sorts of chemicals and hormones that change in your body throughout life. The medicine they can give you can help put it back in place. Definitely try to come out of of the funk naturally, but if it lasts then seek professional help. L8rz!

Regardless of what may have brought it on, if it's effecting every aspect of your daily life in a negative manner, including your sleep, then you should probably consider some sort of help to at least get it in check. There are so many different factors, obvious and not so obvious, which could possibly be responsible for it, there is really no way of knowing for sure what brought it on.
Not sure what your diet and work out program consists of...but using the word strict to describe it...is there a possibility that it's not depression, but a bit of fatigue? The self has no boundaries except those it accepts out of Ignorance.

Depressed
Dietary changes can cause depressive thoughts...I have experienced the same type of feelings when I made changes in my diet...I think the key is to continue with your normal workout routine...even if your not feeling it...after your workout...give yourself positive strokes...Also man...cutting carbs as you probably know has a effect on mood...you could increase your carb levels a little and see if that fixes things...Hope this helps man....Self
While liftin duh weights I yell out..."You sexy beast"...."Squeeze metal for papa".

Yeah changing what your body is taking in can have massive effects on your mood. Even if its strict give yourself a chilled cheat day every 10 days or so, don't go silly but relax and eat what you enjoy.
Don't just get hogged down in same routine day in day out.. it won't increase your physique as your mind will just be going through the motions.
As somebody already said, set yourself some goals for this time in 3 months, 6 months and 12 months and then try hitting them, even if its taking up hobbies, being more social, hitting more sets in the gym.
Good luck broThe higher you climb, the further you see..
