How often should I take rest days?

I'm not new to bodybuilding, but I haven't seen a size gain in over 4 months. I used to lift randomly, and have around 2 to 3 rest days a week, and I would get big.
now I lift everyday, and I get a little stronger, but I don't get growth.
Should I take rest/recovery days again? If so, how often?

Take them whenever you feel you need them.

If your lifting everyday you definitely need some rest in there dude, also you need to eat more if your not seeing gains but getting stronger.

How many rest days you need and when you take them depends on what your split works out and how good your body's natural recover rate looks like. Working out every day definately seems like too much, though. Most people on here only seem to workout around 4 or 5 days a week, if even that.

Taking rest days could definately improve your results though, as your muscles need time to fully recuperate and grow. If you don't give them enough time to recover before working them again, then you can impede on your gains or risk overtraining and possible injury.

Also, you say that you're seeing strength gains but not putting on much size. Could this be due to changes in your diet? You do need to eat a lot and properly in order to gain muscle.

Thanks for the answers. I'm gunna try resting more. And I probably should eat more to. My current diet consists of 3 meals, and a post workout creatine, and a protein 2 hours after that

It depends on a lot of things, but no rest days is definitely too few.

If you are stronger, generally you need more rest days to recover. A noob benching 100lbs can hit it every other day and make gains. A more experienced lifter benching 300lbs might only hit it once a week.

4 rest days a week should be good. Its not like the more you workout the bigger you get. Just stick with the rest days and grow

Just listen to your body. If you do Weak workouts then 6 days a week. If you absolutely kill yourself each workout then 4-5 Days a week.
