how often should u change ur workouts where u dont get used to it

i switch things around every 2-3 months or when i notice im not making any more gains

Don't change your workout routine just for the sake of change. If you are still progressing on your lifts, then keep on keeping on. When a particular lift isn't working, or when your priorities change, then swap in another one. But even then you don't need to toss your entire routine out the window.
