Im going to have to put this prep on hold for the time being until I can get my health back under control because of right now my stomach issues are becoming too much of a hindrance and consuming my life. I have an appointment with a GI specialist on Tuesday of next week so Im hoping I can get some tests done and get this whole situation sorted out. I have been battling this problem for years and as of late it has been at its all time worse It has gotten to the point that its interfering with my everyday life and feels extremely bad after cardio sessions. Im going to try a big diet change and hopefully this will help some until I can get into to doctors. I will be going from 50/140/200 f/c/p to 65/300/70...wayyyyy lower in protein but were hoping it will help since my problem seems to be lower GI and all you folks who know about protein, it goes to war down there!
Im really trying to stay positive and keep an optimistic outlook on all of this but its been SO long with this damn problem that its hard to imagine ever feeling "good" again. Hell...I even forget what that feels like. Ill try and update my log from time to time but to everyone else in this forum(contest prep) keep pushing and to all the hommies that were following...I appreciate the support! Couldnt have made it this far without you.

I feel for ya, hopefully you can get some answers and back to good health on all of it very soon. You're too young for this bs & you work so hard at living a healthy lifestyle, shouldn't have to deal with all of this.
Curious-- Have you had your gall bladder out? I've known a good handful of people that had major GI issues-- diagnosed with Crohns, couldn't eat any gluten at all without violent illness, ER visits for almost daily debilitating gastric reflux...all disappeared once their gall bladders were removed. Have no idea if that could be your issue as well, but it was so odd and incredible how much their lives changed for the better afterwards.
Hang tough. All of your goals and prep will still be there for you when this is figured out and when it is, it will certainly be easier and more enjoyable to pursue."In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer." ~Albert Camus

Smart smart smart decision Nick. Way to set priorities. Stay strong and know that this will be temporary. You're gonna diagnose it and treat it however you need to.. and get back on the horse like the bad a$$ mofo you've been this whole prep. When? Who knows exactly.. but you've got all the time in the world. Treat yourself right and listen to your body. Keep us all in check on what the word is alright? Hope to see you soon man

Know it's been said before but you're doing the right thing bro. After all, what's bodybuilding without a healthy body? It'll be worth the sacrifice in the end.
And FWIW, though I obviously can't say I know what you're feeling right now.. I'm sure you *will* feel well again even though you aren't so hopeful now.ಠ_ಠ

Thank you Everyone!
you are 100% correct. Im done trying to cope with this bs on a daily basis and I need to get to the bottom of it.
Thank you SIr...Im not very sure of what the doctor is going to say that will help me but I do know that I need a CT scan done on my stomach to see if there is an intestinal blockage somewhere because Im thinking thats my problem...I had appendicitis in HS and I have done alot of research that a blockage can occur from adhesion's
Thanks Todd...Ill def keep you updated...you going to be at the show this weekend?
Bro...imagine that feeling 24/7 from the second you eat breakfast to time you lay down to sleep. No fun.
Thank you Jen. I will bring up the gall bladder issue to the doc on Tuesday and see what he says about it...I appreciate the input and Im feeling much better about this whole situation already and that I will get to the bottom of it. Also, starting today. Im going gluten free for a few weeks to see if this helps
Thanks B...I will def let you guys know whats up!
Man Im trying my absolute best to stay as positive and optimistic about this situation.
See you saturday hommie!
exactly. I feel like If I wasnt going through this BS, my prep would have gone so much smoother and I would be diced by now. Something is wrong in my GI tract that is causing me to not get shredded but once i get it figured out I will have pro level leanness with huge muscles.
lol but thanks for the support bro and ur FB avi is DOPE! accept my request already!TEAM NO CRYING

You're the man buddy, get this straightened out, again, one day at a time

thanks Connor...so I went to a RDA the other day and got blood, saliva, and Urine tests done. Also, had a metabolic typing test performed and found out that I am parasympathetic type 2a which functions optimally with high fat, high protein, low carb diets. Fats should come from oils, proteins, and nuts...Proteins should be "heavier" proteins for ex. buffalo, pork, dark turkey and chicken meat...and carbs should mostly come from veggies. Going to give this a go and see how I feel...ALSO was told to avoid SOY/WHEAT/CAFFEINE/DAIRY....really hoping this helps.

We got there at about 7:15. Right at the intermission. We were sitting up top with the 3D clan. Did you say bye to the boys on your way out?
I didn't know BB was popular in Scotland. I thought they just drank and chased sheep.
That's interesting. Never heard the term "heavy proteins". Low carb & veggies kind of goes hand in hand so that's easy.
You're still seeing the GI doc right?www.3DMUSCLEJOURNEY.COM

Sorry to hear about your troubles man..but I think everyone would make the same decision. BBing shows are always gonna be there, they're just waiting for you to be ready. No sense in exacerbating your condition before you figure out even whats exactly wrong. Hoping for the best for you, and I'll be waiting to see you hit that stage..lean and healthy (or as healthy as you can be at a contest).

I think it was you that told me about Tech N9NE. Dang, I like. I checked out "The Gates Mixed Plate" from library. Yeah, I am cheap, gotta save money to do BB shows. LOL. Anyways, I like him a lot. Gonna have to get more of his stuff.

As long as pumpkin isn't on the list he's o.k. ;P
But really not a big deal. It's just a raw food diet for the most part.
Nickster is there bakeries around you that make bread from say almond flour or something like that? Since Nick lives where they actually have awesome places like that. Or you could make bread like that (if you just had to have some) during some of your free 7.5 minutes/day.www.3DMUSCLEJOURNEY.COM

Update
oh hai there!
First off this new layout BLOWS! I cant even figure out how to make a normal post, not a damn quick reply, or how the hell to skip a line lol...well I guess I will keep it brief for now and if you have questions about anything feel free to ask. So as you guys know I stopped prepping a few weeks ago in hopes to regain my health. Things continued to get progressivley worse for the next following weeks and I was trying eveything. I feel as if I am starting to get better on a daily basis but still waiting on insurance things to be sorted out so tests can be done. In the meantime, I have completely eliminated green vegetables from my diet and feel tremendously better. Who would have thunk it? My Macros at the moment are 60/215/175 and are going to be going up on a weekly basis. Im really trying to take this reverse slow because I know my metabolic rate is shot right now especially with all the diet changes I have done recently trying to find the culprit to my pain. My training is not going too well right now because of nagging injuries but Im doing my best to make lemonade. Having a broken finger, tweaked hamstring, and shoulder pain, doesnt mix well. The reason I am bringing myself back to logging and tracking my macros is because the last few days I have kind of fallen off the wagon a bit diet wise and dont like where its heading. Nothing good is at the end of the food binging/overeating tunnel. I learned this the hard way a few years back. I really want to get healthy again and back to training hard and heavy. My energy is starting to come back big time and Im finally off caffeiene pre-WO So lets gO DER!TEAM NO CRYING
