It depends on your goals and where you are at in relation to them. Post workout is prime time to get a healthy dose of carbs in. And most guys unless they are on a ketogenic diet or in the very depths of prep will consume some carbohydrates with their protein post work out. Just read through the list here to get some ideas.

****totype matters too!
I think the consumption of carbs are very individual on the person here and if they are offseason the more they can consume as well.
The more your body is towards an endomorph the less carbs you can ideally handle post workout. The more your body leans towards and ectomorph the more carbs you can consume. The protein (20-40 g's is plenty) as this will also increase insulin post workout and has been shown to work well on its own, can pretty much be there and should be there post workout with some BCAAS and creatine! Now if contest prep is in order this can be your ideal time to consume your carbs, but again it shouldn't be as much as if it were the offseason.

I only started doing the shakes again now that I ambout 2.5 months out of my show.
When dieting, I kill shakes totaly since I find much more satisfaction in whole food. Shakes provide litterally no saiety for me. I do like to eat carbs though so that is why most of my carbs come after the shake (see the post right above the one I Am quoting in this one).
Now that I am bulking, I added shakes back in since I eat plenty of food anyhow, it is just easier and more convienient to down a shake. Sill like to eat those carbs though..

No carbs?
I would venture to answer your question with a big fat NO.. that is not right.
It would be ok if you were dieting and doing some sort of carb restricted diet, but even then you would want more fat then you are getting from the above listed foods.
I don't mean to be rude, but what are you doing in the contest prep section?
