I found the ISSA text book much more enjoyable to read, I am not certified with ACE but BCRPA borrows their book and I found it a nightmare to read.
ISSA: Personal Trainer, Specialist in Sports Nutrition.
BCRPA: Personal trainering, weight training & fitness theory.

Hmm
I've had a great experience with ISSA and loved reading each course. If I were to get an NCCA accredited certification I would go with NASM, and ACSM. ACE is kinda hyped in my opinion.
