Okay. Here are some pics of me between a 4 week period (second pick was taken 2.5 weeks ago). I have been training hard to lean down and it seems to be working. I feel that my mid section is coming along nicely, as well as my legs (you can't see them in the pics). But my chest seems to be lagging. I need help and advice on losing the fat on my chest. It inhibits me from wanting to let anyone see me shirt-less, even my girlfriend.
I don't want to do anything surgery related. I can't afford much more in the way of supplements. Currently I am using Optimum Whey Protien, Xenadrine EFX and Titan-Muscle. All of which seem to help a lot with keeping my muscle and losing fat, but I just can't lose this chest flab. It's really bringing me down.
I do 45 minutes of cardio a day (lately it's been 60 minutes) on an eliptical machine 4-5 days a week and weight training twice a week. I try to restrict my calorie/carb intake.
Anyways... any help would be apresiated. Or am I just paranoid, and just have to realise that it will go, but it'll take time? Thanks.
Assuming your diet is in line, it sounds like you're doing everything right. Trust me that it will go, but it will take time. It's a male trait to retain body fat in your upper body.
Great change friend......you are doing all the right things.....the fat accumulation already is much smaller........keep at it and it will be all right........though I think it is OK now as well........but if you want keep doing what you are doing and it will dissapear in some time
Great work for just four weeks... You want to be sure you haven't cut back too far on your intake or your body will think it's starving and lower your Base Metobilotic (I wish this post system had spell check) Rate. Just eat clean and try to love cardio and you'll be shredded in no time...
Remember getting lean and muscular is a journey not a destination and you're starting. If you intend to keep your gains you'll need to continue the journey for as long as you want to keep them.
You've made some great progress in 4 weeks man, so be proud! As far as the chest fat goes, what I notice when I diet down, is that my lower abs and chest seem to be the last thing to lean out, so be patient! But once I get rid of all the fat, my chest looks bigger (since the cut underneath comes out). Keep up the good work, and look at these pics everytime you feel like cheating or giving up, because they will be great motivation!
