    do you need fat to gain muscle

    I have always been told that you need fat to gain muscle(fat gets converted into muscle) but other people say you don't. They say you can gain muscle mass without fat. Who's right?

    The fatter you become the more potential you have to gain muscle. To be huge you have to first gain 50+ lbs of fat before even lifting a weight.
