It seems as though the majority of the US brahs are very anti gun control and a lot of them are self proclaimed gun nuts.
How about you guys? What are your thoughts on gun control? Do you wish that they were not as strict in your respective countries?

I'm happy with no guns. If I wanted to shoot someone I couldn't because I literally don't know a single person who has a gun, infact I don't think I even know someone who knows someone who has a gun (srs)
And if someone breaks into my house with a gun he's a lot less likely to shoot me because he's already presuming I don't have a gun.
Whereas if it was in the U.S there's a good chance the home owner would own a gun and would therefore the burglar would be more likely to shoot at the home owner.
All I'm saying is things are fine the way they are.On the road to becoming aesthetically pleasing.

Seeing the video of the 8 year old kid shooting himself with an Uzi just reinforces my stance on it. People shouldn't be allowed to have guns fullstop, UNLESS they live in a place with bears tearing through their homes. In which case they must have been intensively trained, have no criminal records and must pay an annual fee to upkeep their gun liscence.
Nobody in britain has any reason to own a gun, there's hardly any hunting here. I can't comment on Australia.

Anyone who has a gun gets locked up, helps lock up the outlaws.
Gun laws in the UK are spot on, if you want a gun for sport you can get a gun for sport. If you want guns for collecting you have to have them made safe. What other reason could you legitimately have for wanting a gun?
Some of the crims do have guns but it is extremely rare, a shooting will almost always make national news.

I don't need one thus I do not have the desire to own one. If I were into hunting or sports shooting, then yes I would buy one, it is not as difficult as you would think to own one here. However not every tom, dick and fuknuckle owns one here so the majority of people dont feel the necessity to own one for "protection" either.
