Last night I polished off the Half Baked pint that was sitting in my freezer for a good few weeks.
Did anyone else find it doesn't quite live up to the great heights a lot of people hold it at? Maybe I let the hype get to it a little bit.
I really think I'd rather go back to salted caramel or blueberry connoisseur instead.

I really should give it atleast a try considering its rave reviews, nothing about marshmallow really stands out for me though. If it was toasted, it might be a different story though!
Meanwhile I sent Harry's Ice Cream a message last night just talking about the ice creams, what i liked, what I didn't, why, suggestions etc. Now it looks like they're sending me free samples. Not bad at all!

I enjoyed clusterfluff for what it was...the marshmallow isn't kind of a non event amongst all of that peanut butter and caramel. It's basically just like someone mixed in some marshmallow fluff to a pint. Unless you scoop it by itself you don't really taste it. Overall it's awesome, at 320cals per 100g it isn't as efficient by volume.
I'm yet to try Harry's, bought a pint of chocolate chip cookie dough B&J's last night, partly because you get a free scoop with it. Intended to try fit it in today but I might go with something a little friendlier like the connoisseur or Harry's.

I think my favorite Harry's would be the Lamington, The chocolate syrup flavor has a very similar taste to the chocolate syrup you would find in a McDonalds chocolate sundae. (I don't see that as a bad thing in the slightest haha) but the small flecks of coconut and jam are a nice touch.
Although the consistency of the mix for the jam and chocolate swirl can be a bit hit and miss.
Harry's has a similar density to the B&J's when you pop off the top unlike Connoisseur i find it's a lot softer straight off the bat which sucks because it melts faster.
All in all I'd say Harry's is good for a lazy pint at the end of the day if you've got the calories to spare, it's not hard in the slightest to get it into your day.

Keen to try christmas pud one. My uncle (who owns an ice cream shop) makes two huge tubs of christmas pudding ice cream for our big family christmas every year. It is hnnggg. If the woolies one tastes anything like it I would reccommend.
Has anyone had the coles rum and rasin ice cream? I love rum n raisin stuff and am keen to try

Are you guys getting B&J from some crazy cheap store because the only ones I found in Coles were like $12 a tub and it was a poverty small tub. $12 is like an entire days groceries.

They didn't have any choc honeycomb at my Coles/Woolies And the nearest IGA is about 20km away FML. Anyone know if Aldi have some good ice creams or is it same chit as Woolies/Coles?
I got this instead - only $5 for 2L, and only 180 kcal/100g! Had a cheeky little teaspoon as I unpacked groceries and it tastes just like jaffas om nom nom

Really I saw this but I swear I recalled Always saying it wasn't very flash (maybe I was thinking of Rolo overload??). I will give it a whirl once I finish this Choc/Orange one from Streets. The flavour of the actual ice cream is quite nice - tastes like jaffas which I love - accept the chocolate chips aren't chocoately enough I think it would taste a lot better with them not in there at all.
Will pick it up next time, thanks!
Isn't it Coles Simply Less? I've only had the Aeroplane Lite (I assume you already have too) which is great, but I'm growing a bit tired of the flavours.fluglotse

I remember as a kid I loved both the caramello and the honeycomb, but I was a kid so I doubt it was possible for me to not like a type of icecream.
Also does not have the exact same brands as Coles or Woolies, but most of the Aldi brands are copied so they will most likely be very similar.
Yes, sorry, it's Coles. I will give the coles lite jelly a try next time and see how it is."Whoa, peanut-butter does look a lot like Cum." - Alan Aragon
