I'm researching different certs right now. Leaning toward NASM. But I'm having a hard time learning what the career is actually like.
Say I get the cert. Whatever it is. I get a job...Golds Gym, Sport and Health (local franchise in and around DC where I actually work out). I walk in...what's the deal? Do they throw clients at me? Am I cleaning up the desk and racking weights for minimum wage until I get one? I get the sales end...I've done sales before and I'm good at it. So i'm not super concerned about selling myself. I'm just curious what the job culture is like. Does it depend on the gym? How much can I expect to make in a year? If I work part time (20ish hours) or full time?
Also, one last Q. If I get last year's study material for a cert...cheap on Amazon...will I still pass this year's test?
Thanks!
