My goal is to add muscle and to lose fat or at least to minimize fat gain. I have 2 diet options. Option A is to eat about 200g of protein, 190g of carbs and 100g of fat. Option B is to eat the same amount of protein but only 90g of carbs and 145g of fat. Both options equal to 2460 calories but as you can see, option A has more carbs than fat and option b has more fat than carbs. Will the macronutrient ratio effect my results? Since keto diets are high in fat and low in carbs, i thought that i can replace my carbs with fat and burn abit of fat while gaining muscle. Is it good or bad to get a majority of your calories from fat? Any advice/explanation would be appreciated. Thanks.
