As my first time using a caliper it estimates me at 10%, Im guessing around 12%?
Im 23, 5'5" and weighing right around 155lbs, I am at the beginning of trying to get around to 6 or 7% body fat.

I would have said right around 10/11% myself. You have some very decent lean mass there, but there is potential for you to grow even more if that is what you want to do. Other than that, keep up the great work, and good luck on the cut! And don't be too hard on yourself in the upcoming calorie war. =P Have fun!

Tranquil.. I recently got a caliper but before I started working out I had a slight belly on me.. I'd say from viewing other peoples pictures I started out around 16-18 percent. I've always had pretty decent mass but I was beginning to get fat imo..
I plan on lowering my body fat by cutting out nearly all sugar/junk/bad carbs from my diet and creating a calorie deficit of at least 500 calories a day.
I also have started doing cardio, I workout generally 5 days a week..
Day 1- Swim 1 mile
Day 2- legs/abs- lower weight- 3X20
Day 3 - Run for 1hr
Day 4 -Swim 1 mile
Day 5- Abs- medicine balls
I also have a very active job that requires alot of physical activity so that will also help burn a few extra calories.
I'd be glad to hear any pointers.. Especially on what to eat.. I've been reading here religiously for the last couple days and it seems everyone kind of contradicts each others nutrition advice.
To start my morning I usually eat 2 cups of light yogurt
before midday I usually have a protein shake -70G
I workout over my lunch break
I get a protein shake when I return from the gym- 70G
For dinner I eat either 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts or 2 fish filets with either rice or a vegetable
Before I go to bed eat 2 cups of cottage cheese to digest while I sleep.
