Nice effort. I'll have to credit my improvement this year partially to you. The last couple of comps watching you move up in wt killed me why I had to watch on the side nursing my back problems. I kept thinking if you can improve that much, I can get back to where I was and add a little.

Watch this sheete for a laugh. Surely I win the knee trembler of the year award (with 177.5kg on the bar, 14lb bar for 404ish total).
Went for 182.5kg on the bar after this and failed miserably. Too embarassed to post it.
I realised later that I forgot to watch Ronnie Coleman deadlifting on DVD beforehand and this was the reason for mega fail. I also gave up beer for one day and this obviously didn't help things. My wife probably did something to stuff things too, but I don't know what.
Congrats to Storm and Bando the mega lifters. Can't remember who was winning.
After looking on for about 7 months I decided to get in on this and I am so glad.
Used to be proud of my 160kg (on the bar) deadlift and now I have improved a bit.
This has been a great motivation for someone who can only bench 60kg and squat 100ish kg.
Also congrats to the winners in the big fella weight divisions. There were some fugin big lifts that I never replied back to, so rspectd to them.
See you next year.

Well, as for Bando Vs. Storm, you're ahead of Bando. He posted a 405 at 164. Your 404 at 154 beats him by 12 pounds. Congrats, you moved into second place on the last day. How's that for Progress?
Damn!! In for Vid on that one! Freakishly strong she is!
Now, for some statistics and number crunching. My 555 at 203 gives a Deadlift to bodyweight ration of 2.73. Busta at 226 pulling 550 results in a 2.43. DD posting up a 315 pull at a 114 bodyweight gives a 2.76. In fact, she posted the second highest ratio out of 20 participants this past 6 months. She was only beat by Storm who had a 2.83. Damn! Congrats in a big way!The Iron will never Lie to you.

I am amazed at the progress some of these videos show. Serious Congrats go to all the people that participated. I am disappointed in the number of I'm In's posted, and then DNF'd. One guy posted he wanted in, for his very first and only post on the boards. GETSUM seemed like the most prolific poster, and he showed fantastic progress.
And here's the full listing of all the posted videos.

I've been given the word that we can do another one, but there are only 5 mod Reps situations available and we'd have to space them out. 3 months is too short for anyone to make real progress. Hell, Bando worked on it all year and didn't improve. Flex did the same. Yes, Injuries, blah blah, excuses. Busta was injured and managed to rebuild and reset and still come back.
So, it'll be a 6 month comp, just like this year.
It'll be posted shortly. The Iron will never Lie to you.

I agree. Progress is not linear so for us guys that have been pushing hard and making gains, they come a lot slower. It took me a few weeks to pull 4 plates, 6 months to pull 5 plates, and it's been about 15 months since then and I am nowhere near a 6 plate pull.
I have no doubt I will get there, but I need to be 100% on my game and injury free. I messed up my back last spring, and then took about 2 months off of deadlifting last summer. That combo killed it for me.Insta: flexjs

Very true. My assumption was that any injury either puts you out for good, or down for a month or two. In which case, a 3 month comp would be far too short. A full year does drag on quite a while, and therefore a 6 month works best. The Iron will never Lie to you.
