Has anyone had fainting spells and if so how did you deal with them and continue to lose weight? When I have the blackout spells it feels like I am going to faint for a brief second. I usually have these spells in the morning. I am not a diabetic. After I eat I have no more problems. The first time I experienced this was when I was doing Weight Watchers in 2002 and I was getting close to 200 LBS. I would feel faint and had no energy, after I ate I would feel fine.
I am 39 years old, 240 LBS, 5'8'' tall. My caloric intake is 1900-2300 calories. I have been zig-zagging my calories on alternating days; 1900 on the low days and 2300 on the high days, because I have been on a plateau. When I kept my calories at the 1900 I actually increased in weight by 4 LBS, in a period of 1 week. My macros are 50% carbs, 25% protein, 25% fats.
I ate 2300 calories on yesterday so it was a high calorie day. I had a blackout spell on this morning. I think it was because I did not eat breakfast until 9:00 AM. Because I ate 2300 calories on yesterday, I certainly didn't expect to be low on calories on today.
I don't know if maybe my calories are still too low for my height and weight, or if I simply need to be sure I eat within the hour of getting up in the morning.
I lost about 70 LBS with Weight Watchers in 2002 but I started my old eating habits again because I started having the blackout spells. When I knew it I was back up to 275 LBS. I am not going to let that happen again but I need help to figure this thing out.
I think one problem may have been more of the fact that my last meal before going to bed last night was 500 calories, I was up for 6:00 AM and I did not eat until 9:00 AM. I appreciate any other suggestions.

I had a similar problem a year and a half ago. My HR would suddenly shoot up to 200+ for no reason, exercising or sitting on the couch. I ended up have SVT (supervetricular tachycardia) and had to have surgery to fix it.
The OP didn't mention increased HR, but fainting is typical in heart problems or neurological problems.
