Strong work man. You've really progressed the past 2 years. If you don't mind, I do have a question for you. I recently started taking progress pics, but most of them are to two dimensional to really see results. As was stated above, you seem to know how to use the shadows to your advantage and take a good pic. Do you mind sharing progress pic-taking technique?

First off thx for the comments fellas. I'd be full of ****e if I said I didnt work my arse off for it.(Its all about consistently logging in your time in the weightroom and even more importantly getting your diet down to a science)...As far as the shadows on pics go..If you have been on BB.com long you kinda pick up on stuff. What my wife does, is have me stand slightly behind and below a good light source. Then she usually turns off the flash on the digicamera...Too much light will drown out your cuts..(same concept as pros tanning and awesome lighting at BB contests). We just goofed around in different light to get a good shot. That being said if you dont have a decent amount of cuts or mass all the light changes in the world wont help you..well maybe if the lights are completely off lol. Anyway I hope that helps.

Just putting out a friendly challenge to IrishMike to post a pic with his face showing.
Or should I start a thread about it?

I dont used a "boxed program" per say. I open up each body part with four sets of not less that 8-15 reps. I go to failure on the last set of each exercise. After the first exercise (a compound movement) I pick out 2 or three more exercises for three sets each. Usually, if I do a fourth exercise it will be an isolation movement. I try to push myself each and every time I step in my home gym. I try to get mentally prepared while I'm having my preworkout creatine and then try never to walk out of my gym with the feeling that I could have done more.
From my experience...as far as training goes...most of your average lifters dont use correct form and are not consistent enough with their training. I usually only train 45-75 minutes four days a week, but I am very consistent and have been for 1.5 years. Wow, that was a jumbled bit of nonsense, lol, oh well I hoped that helped at least a little.

Oh calm down champ. So what if your job is a professional one. It's not like you're gay and hiding in the closet is it?
I don't understand. If a competitive bodybuilder (who may also hold a professional 9-5 job) has his face in contest pics on the net, whats the big deal here, unless you're embarrassed about what you do here.

Thickmass, I used to think you were a weirdo that just hunts around lookin for inconsistencies in peoples threads and calling them out, but you're startin to make me laugh a lot and kinda grow on me. I have no beef with you man. I think we both just say what we think regardless of the consequences. It's cool. As for the reasons for my anonymity, it really doesnt matter. I don't give a rats arse what you look like, why should you care what I look like. It's a BODYBUILDING forum. When it turns into a face building forum I'll post up...lol...take care.

Alphy I didnt really keep up with BF% and still don't..Just kinda estimate them..sorry.. As for the weight in the first two I was around 190 and obviously a lardbutt but dropped down to around 185 after about a month of lifting. I stayed around 185-190 through the first pics until after the 5 and 6th pics. Then I cut for last summer and dropped weight (prob a fair bit of muscle to around 168 or so. In like the last 5 pics I'm up to around 176-178 pics I stayed around the same weight.
My waist went from 36.5 (my highest from b4 I started taking pics) was 38. I now have between 31.5 and 32 waist depending on the time of day. I'd say my bf% now is prob around 12-13ish? I know thats kinda vague. I wish I would have kept closer measurements on the bf% and a log. Thx for visiting I hoped this helped a little.

You kinda began this e-discussion/argument which I explained in the challenge thread and I challenged you to bodybuilding poses CHAMP lol. Did I hurt your feelings? For me this has been all in good fun. And in a post from another thread I gave you your props on your avatar. I'll have to dig to find it. To be honest man, if it affected you this much I apologize. You can pour over my posts I try to be polite and give as much positive remarks as I can. Anyway, we're both in our 30's and this is tiring. Lets just be men and agree to disagree. or not whatever brother.
