I was just channel surfing and the news had some kind of female expert sex doctor on their panel. She was saying that women over 40 are quicker to give it up on a a first date than woman in their 20's. I find that hard to believe.

Could be a few reasons. A) an over 40 yr old woman could have gotten out of a long bad marriage...now she's ready to test the waters; feels like a kid in a candy shop so to speak B) she is more free with herself, not as hung up on what others think C) she might be feeling desperate.
My sister is well over 40...and has been divorced for a while now...and for the longest time, she was going from man to man. I felt bad for her. She wasn't happy. She told me she felt that ''time was running out.'' Unlike when you're in your 20's...and you feel you have the rest of your life to 'be picky.' She felt she couldn't be picky...She has since stopped, thankfully. And met a really nice man, now.
I think women of all ages should be picky...and don't have to ever settle. But, those are just my hunches. Now, granted there are exceptions. This is just one ''expert's'' opinion.
Just my two cents.

Yeah, could be. I think the whole sex & the city 'genre' has caused women in general...of all ages, to feel less inhibited as our ancestors might have felt. (sexually)
While I watched sex & the city...the hilarious thing about that show was...here are supposedly strong, smart women...who are desperate to make it with any guy who'll ask...sitting by the phone waiting on any loser who'll call. It's like...really? So...at the end of the day...the show backfired. It showed ''empowered'' women still feeling worthless without a man.
But, I watched it for the fashion.

It actually stands to reason to me. 40 yo women have been adults for a couple of decades and have already made plenty of mistakes. They have better instincts and the ones with their heads on straight are going to know more about a guy before the first datethan a 20 yo.

Women in their 40's are just very secure in who they are, we do not play all the games the younger generations do. For example we are not looking for a man to support us, or buy us things, we are looking for companionship and romance.
Now with that said, I don't think that it's accurate to say that we will sleep with men on the first date. I have gone out with several men and not slept with them. I have been separated for 5 years and have not been in a mad race to bed every man that I meet.
I just think that it honestly depends on the woman.

Maybe they are just more open about their sexuality than younger females? Maybe they aren't interested in playing games or fretting over whether the guy will respect them in the morning. Maybe they just want to get laid, you know, the same way that men do.
I don't know, I'm not in my 40s...yet. I'll let you know in 3 weeks. lol
