Just wondering brahs. Heard it was easier. I made an A in financial, just wanting to know what to expect this semester.

it was easier for me, but that was of the professors IMO. for financial i had this chinese prof who didnt speak much english. for managerial i had this middle aged brawd who seemed to always want everyone to like her and was kind of a pushover. she also used a lot online resources that made things easier to understand and better prepared us for tests.

you are complaining about 25/30?
that's an 83%
are you talking about upper division or lower division?
I am in my last semester as an accounting student, so I've been taking upper division. first off, our tests are worth around 175-200 pts. and if anyone got an 83% then they are one of tops in the class.
the class averages on the tests are around the 50%-55%. so if u get an 83% or 25/30, you will be getting an A and one of the highest grades in the class.
but also our classes are taught differently. they are 6 units and are two classes jammed into one. and have 3 of those to complete, one after the other. then a 4 unit class and 6 more units are advanced accounting classes.
like here's how my classes were:
- financial/tax (6)
- advanced financial/AIS (6)
- managerial(cost)/ Auditing (6)
- advanced tax (3)
- advanced AIS (3)
- accounting communication (4)
plus 6 units of 200 level beginig accounting (easy, now that back at)
those are just the actual accounting classes. then we have another 24 units of upper division business classes. and another 15 units of upper division required by the school regardless of your major.
and this is just upper division lol. I believe you have to complete 60 units of lower division GED to get to upper division. and you had to have over a 3.0 to get into upper division accounting and then once your in you are fine because most ppl drop below that 3.0
in other words, its a bitch. I would have rather of been a biology major or engineer major. but oh well, I'm graduating this semester and the job Outlook for accounting has always been superior to just about all majors.

Financial accounting focuses on giving true and a fair view of the financial position of the company to various parties whereas management accounting aims at providing both qualitative and quantitative information to the managers, so as to assist them in decision making and thus maximizing the profit
Both are interrelated to each other if you find financial accounting easy then management accounting will also feel easy
