Basically in the worse condition of my life. Weigh 279lbs, 6.2" with a naturally stocky build. Aim is to get to 240lbs for June and to be very fit ready for competitive tennis season and ready for football (soccer) at the end of the summer. Have sorted my diet and am taking etherdrine tablets that are suppost to be good, any feedback on them!? What I need to know it, whats the best things to be doing in the gym for both weight loss and actually CV fitness?
Any advice and storys would be great, cheers

Do you mean ephedrine tabs? If so, check if they are the real thing (ephedrine/ephedra, not the extract which is usually some herbal BS). If you are taking those and don't know a lot about them, go research them. Avoid intense cardio while taking them especially at a heavier weight to avoid some serious problems. Also drink a LOT of water.
I also suggest breaking your goals up a bit more. Instead of constantly thinking about losing 40lbs which is only one goal, make your first goal to drop 15lbs in X amount of time. If you only set one goal, you don't feel as much motivation/reward from your successes along the way. If you set a bunch of small goals then every time you reach one you are that much more motivated to hit the next. Just my approach, others prefer one big goal.
With a lot of discipline this goal is possible, drink a lot of water, get a lot of protein and bust ass. Good luck man.

hey man I have lost 30lbs since November and still counting. Definitley doable, you just have to keep your mind right and your diet clean. One thing that I found when trying to get back into good shape is that the long cardio was doing not much for me in terms of cardio for things like basketball, but as soon as I started doing some HIIT my work capacity and endurance skyrocketed
