Asian Nightmare, why do you think most asian/east asian wrestlers never do well in televised promotions (WWE/TNA). With the exception of samaons...most east asian wrestlers never take off. (taka michinoku, ...yoshi tatsu...ultimo dragon...hamada...all never took off). Not counting the great misawas match with joe or the great muta little stint in WCW.

My guess is the language barrier.

WWE wants 2 FULL matches, a promo, 1-2 promo shots showing your physique and a resume with your REAL height and weight, your experience, who trained you, seminars you've participated in, feds you've worked for. Similar for TNA or any other promoter

My student broke his fibia doing a moonsault and landing on his feet. I've blown my knees out. I've seen one guy attempt a suicide dive, get his feet caught and come straight down on his head

Never caused a serious injury other than a few bruises and maybe a fat lip (accidents happen). I'm pretty stiff but safe

Chris Kanyon was a really cool guy. Had the opportunity to take a seminar by him, he taught alot of ring psychology

Or is it more of a opening music with the wrestler in character and then they just fight and get on with it?

2nd Q. More personal and you can decline to answer. Do you have a tagline or a unique dialogue you use inside the ring or when approaching the ring? You know for example there are so many in WWE ("If you smelllll..." or "Austin 3:16" or "Straight edge" or "You can't see me", etc)

Just very curious about the Indie wrestling scene. Do you have a good video of any of your fights on YouTube you can share here with us?

I've worked some shows that are really promo heavy just cause they have to get the storylines over without the "luxury" of weekly TV

My highlight package is professionally edited. The matches I pick are professionally taped, usually for TV so they're edited but they're full matches

Nightmares do come true sounds like a pretty good shirt.......I find the best wrestling shirts can fit in any envioroment pro-wrestling or just general tough/cool

I have a question about entrance music.

If you work an indy show and your entrance music is "Back in Black" by ACDC (for example). What are the legal rules. Can you just get a mp3 from the internet and show it? Do you have to buy a not pirate version and then you allowed to use it? or does the promotion really have to contact every artist and ask for permission?

Since you have a DDP quote in your sig or you a DDP fan or do you just like the quote? (personally big DDP fan)

Most indies don't have TV so a band like AC/DC or in my case Disturbed probably wouldn't care.
I have a custom theme for several feds with TV just to avoid copyrights etc

I'm Canadian so we have Health Care (luckily)

They can work to build up a monster but I'm not a fan of squashes. They do nothing for either guy or the promotion

If I squash some jobber and he gets ZERO offense. He looks like sh*t and , in the audience's eyes, I just beat a guy who couldn't fight back.
It looks bad on the promotion for sticking some helpless kid in the ring who couldn't even defend himself (in kayfabe of course)
I always give the job guy at least a couple moves of offense

Have you ever wrestled in North Carolina or Tennesee? or do you plan to or work with any promotions that show in that area? maybe get the bros to start a "kwan's gonna kill you" chant.

I wrestle regularly in WNY and just did 2 dates in Tennessee (Southern Wrestling Federation and Tennessee All Pro). Hoping to come down in May or June and work SWF and Tennessee All Pro again as well as NWA Top Rope.
