Beau, going to assume your inbox is full. I graduate in December with a degree in Construction Management and looking for a different job than the one I currently have. I work for an environmental consulting company right now overseeing asbestos removal on job sites. Im willing to relocate when I graduate in December. If you have an opportunity I'd like to hear about it; just shoot me a PM.

The legend returns! Ready to hear that DEA story has to be interesting, you have lived a life 5 times as exciting as mine, man I am not ashamed to say I've honestly read your journal thread at least three whole times. Learn a little bit about myself through your experience of life... thanks brah.

Sounds about right. I really enjoyed the training, camaraderie and overall atmosphere of the sport (anticipated profession), but what I really failed to realize, as do the majority of people I would think, is that there is absolutely no money in MMA and if you start in boxing after the age of 10, you have missed your opportunity. I was working with great fighters, some household names for those that keep up with the sport, and nobody was doing exceptionally well. Most of the guys are teaching classes on the side or running their own gyms that are lucky to break even at the end of the month. I made a few bucks here and there, but mostly was taking odd side jobs doing security-type work. Collecting for "Johnny D" type stuff. Got shot at twice in one night and had a 3rd gun pulled on me. Not really the type of life one goes in search of. The motivation, for me, to become "great" wasn't there or it was submerged beneath the lifestyle that accompanied the venture. I still hit mitts and spar with my friends, but don't dedicate any more than an hour here and there.
Maybe it is, I will check it now. Although we've got a small office here locally in Phoenix, I'm hardly supporting myself ATM. I'm right at that point where I don't know if I'm going to be doing very well or if I'm going to be hitting up a friend for a place to crash next month. I hope I will be in a position to take you up on that offer in December. It would be nice for both of us.
Talk about being scared straight. It's funny, I think if I had gotten the worst end of that deal I would definitely still be in prison, but more, once I got out, I would really have no option to do anything legitimate. The Government has a monopoly on the drug trade here in Merica. Not a good idea to challenge them on that. I have to imagine this is what it would be like getting caught banging your sister. Nothing really bad coming of it, but it's just not something you really ever want to reflect back upon again.10k+

Yeah I've had a couple experiences with that myself but I'm assuming on a much much smaller scale. I know you are banned now, but I'd like to bounce some ideas off you since you are of the entrepreneurial mindset & ask a couple life questions since I'm out slaying my dragons and **** once you are unbanned, so you could PM an email or means of contact when you're back it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Nickpls stay safe

The legend returns! The first time I read through your posts I just graduated high school and was attending a community college. Had no idea what I was going to do with my life, was a heavy pot smoker, and was f*cking up in school. A few years later I am holding a steady job (decent money-restaurant biz), bought my own car, and just returned to school (realized I messed up big time and don't want to make the same mistakes again). Your posts definitely made some impacts on my future. I want to get out there in the world, see the beauty it has to offer, and meet new people. I feel like I am being held down by school and bills. Regardless of my own worries, I hope you are doing well my good sir and I wish you the best of luck in this game of life!

Wish I could tell him some **** now^
Rereading this thread. Funny to hear my 19 year old self now that 6 years has passed. I guess I did live a decent bit and while I'm a slave in the corporate world I've been given the opportunity to fail and have been forgiven for mistakes they fire others for, so for that I'm fortunate.
Reading this with some failures under my belt puts all your stories in a different perspective and I feel I can appreciate some of what you're saying more.
thanks for sharing this again man
Edit. Read what you posted in 2014. From that year until now I've experienced a ton of sh9t I never thought I would. A lot of good and a lot of bad. I think overall good...
I hope things have been well with youLast edited by NWDub; 03-04-2017 at 10:54 PM.

Craziest stories I have ever read in my life. Would love to spend a week with this dude just learning. Also wish I was super tall with a big frame and really good looking and low inhibition.
