Everyone should be eating pasta like it's there ****ing job. Carbs are more so in a bulking phase more important than protien in some ways. Off season its really about eating tons of carbs through-out the day and having a protien sources at a required time morning/postworkout/before bed or w.e you feel like your lacking. But it is good to have some sort of protein source at every meal

For bulking absolutely, eat as much as you can. For cutting, eat in moderation because the extra carbs will turn into fat if not burned off. To do with the low protein, I'd say add a type of meat sauce to it. Should help. As far as bro-science goes, you aren't going to get jacked eating straight pasta for breakfast lunch and dinner. Make sure you're taking some sort of protein supplement before and after your work outs. Perhaps a weight gainer. Eat like a monster too my friend. The more calories you get, the more building blocks for your muscles.

uh ya it is. The op said it has a BIT of protein....and it does. The whole grain pasta i have has 7g. Doesn't mean it's the best protein source. But it definitely does have protein.

there is a kind of pasta that has like 12 grams of protein per serving. it's pretty good too

Ya, the one i used to buy had 10 gram per serving...and the serving sizes for pasta is pretty damn small. Used to buy it all the time but the store stopped carrying it.

Pasta itself is a fast digesting carb. That isn't good unless you eat in the morning or postworkout. However it is 100% whole wheat(to conform its 100% read the ingredients and make sure "Whole wheat _______" is first) If it is wholewheat it is a slow digesting carb that can be used anything. Same thing applies to bread ...

    Whole wheat > normal

    Thumbs up Its just fine

As long as you don't overeat it or just eat it 3 times a day, you're fine. I'm a beginner, and kinda skinny. So i decided to go for a Bulk and since you need some of them Carbs to proceed Bulking (not necessarily) you'll want to take some. All in all the choice is yours. But the full grains those are healthy as far as i know.
