Does ON 100% Whey Gold Standard come with seal?

I ordered a 5 lb tub from amazon and the outer lid was sealed with plastic all around, but when I untwisted it, there was no paper seal for the top of the tub. Is this normal? Thanks.

Try calling any Vitamin Shoppe. I know they carry the product and could probably answer this for certain for you. I've bought supplements before that only had the paper, some only had the plastic outer ring seal on the lid, and some had both.

Thanks, I'll definitely do that. Does anyone know how high the powder is supposed to be (is it supposed to be packed so that it's almost overflowing or should there be about 3 inches of depth from the lid to the powder?) I'm thinking that some a**hole company sent me someone's return.

Checked. There is a paper seal under the lid, but it clearly fits the lid and is too big for the opening. Besides, the paper has no way of sticking to the opening since there's no adhesive on it.

It's supposed to be 5 lbs of powder. There is no set volume as it settles during shipping and being handled. Weigh it if you're concerned. But since it had the outer seal on and intact I would venture to say it is good to go. Unless the outer seal was misaligned and you could open the tub without ruining the seal.

But the paper seal wasn't ever attached to the opening then. Are you saying that it is just supposed to be laying on top between the opening and the lid? There is clearly no way it was ever glued down to the rim of the tub. I would attach a pic, but don't have 30 posts yet

It's under the lid, just opened a 5lb tub of XF Whey and same thing..was under the lid...and my lid closed...XF With Good Tubs= Whole new level of Nom Nom Nom

You're just wasting your own time, this is ultra common. These tubs sit in warehouses for a while and the lids are on very tightly. The adhesive slowly wears off and is not always visible when it's under the lid. And yes, the paper lids are slightly larger than the openings generally.
