NASM recertification question.

My certification expired in May of 2010, in the packet they give you that has the recertification information, it says that to recertify you need to get 2.0 CEU's, and pay $99. It also says a late fee must be payed if your cert is expired "up to 3 months late". So does this mean i am not able to recertify and i will have to pay for the whole course all over again?

Has anybody been able to recertify their NASM cert when it was expired over 3 months?

My certification is through ISSA, if you let it expire without the CEU's, you must pay a recertification fee and send in your CEU's. Does not require taking the course again.

I assume NASM is the same way. I just tried calling them, but they are closed.



Extra fee of 30$ if it is past 3 months.

In my experience, NASM will do anything it can to get as much of your money as absolutely possible. So probably, yes, you need to do the whole thing again. But call 'em and see.
