Thanks a lot guys, it's been getting better - been surrounding myself with people who make me feel better. I might go to the gym later today and mess around with sumo/conv pulls, got a bit of allergies now but that's no biggie.

I'm doing alright, been keeping busy with friends and feel much better. Slowly getting back into the gym and trying to enjoy the weather as best as I can.

Thanks man, I usually follow EDMtunes on soundcloud and they post up most main DJ's sets when they're out. Or I just listen to my own

IIRC you don't use wrist wraps do you? You really need to invest in a good pair for heavy benching. It's crucial man, seriously.
Also, is 295 a PR???? Great work Matt. That's a pretty big bench for someone at your BW. Get some good wraps and kill 315 now.
I used my friends elite FTS wraps actually and it helped. Didn't feel 100% but yeah 295 is a PR. If the stars aligned I could have done 315 but that may have passed when the double whammy hit me and killed my momentum. :P

sucks on the wrist, but seeing how you've progressed so well on bench this year, I doubt it's going to hold you back much, if at all on future sessions

Yeah, I actually attempted 315 for ****s and got it 1/2 way both times. I know I could have hit it a few weeks ago - going to work with weights around 275/80 to get used to the load in my hands. I typically never go over 250 so that's a huge jump.

Thanks Tim, I need to work on keeping tight, lost it after the first rep but I still had the strength in me to get 5 reps - maybe 1 - 2 more with a spotter lol

After thursday's session I went out dancing with friends, had a blast!
Friday ... took two buddies down to Boston to my favorite Bar (Drink) had a few rounds there then we went out dancing again.
My two friends are pretty good dancers (I'm not bad either) so we got there pretty early, everyone's afraid to go out on the floor so my friend went out (confident mother ****er) and put on a show.
After 5 - 10 minutes of this and everyone still being afraid my friend and I went out there and helped him. Again we're not bad dancers so we're not making fools of ourselves. Anyways, people started to come out with us at that point and kept asking us if we were all part of the club (as dancers, because we went out first and were in front of the DJ). Kind of turned into the joke of the night because people were intimidated until we told them we were just there to have fun.
Found a group of girls eyeing us all night and I went over and grabbed them (again they thought were part of the club) and that was fun for the rest of the night.
