    lyme disease and shoulder surgery

hey guys, i'm having surgery for a torn labrum soon but i just found out from a blood test that I have lyme. one of the tests came back positive and the other negative. i'm not quite sure if I have active lyme but i have had lower back pain for a while (common symptom of lyme...makes sense to me now).

so do you guys think the surgery can still be done? obviously it isnt up to you guys but i'm wondering.

Did the lyme diagnosis come out of the pre-surgical testing? I've never heard of it as a pre-surgical test before, so you'd best ask your doctor about it, he has to clear you for the surgery. Then you have to get past the anestheologist, but I don't think that lyme would be a show stopper for shoulder surgery.
