    Post workout nutrition

    Ok lets say i'm not using a post-workout shake. I feel i'm very on the endo side and well...years ago when I keto'd and did do a post-workout shake I'd get knocked out of ketosis for too long unless I put oil in my shake.

    Basically if i'm not doing a whey shake afterwards how long should i wait for a fat/protein meal after a heavy workout lifting/40 min cardio.
    I "HAVE" to transform...this is disgusting!

    I am on CKD and do a protein shake after i work out...then about two hours later i have my next meal..it has been working well for me

    If you must not drink whey, just eat some lean protein of some sort. Chicken. no fat. eat it right after workout.

    Hmm why no fat if your insulin level isn't up? Or does working out push it up? OR are you more worried about repairing muscle right after?

    As for muscle repair...packing it on has never been an issue.

    Doesn't matter at all.

    Neither the whey knocking you out for a short while nor waiting for a fat/protein meal.
