I usually add two teaspoons of olive oil into my shakes (12oz milk + 2 scoops of True Mass) and I cannot taste the olive oil at all. I'm thinking about replacing the olive oil with liquid fish oil though (probably Carlon's orange flavored). I'm wondering if the fish oil taste will be masked by the shake's other flavors. Does anyone mix liquid fish oil in with their shakes? if so, how bad/good is it? Thanks.

i put Cod Liver Oil in every protein shake i have (twice a day).
i take Cod Liver Oil Forte by Genestra, and its actually really tasty and ADDS to the flavour of my shake. There is no "fishy" taste

I thought the idea of adding fish oil to shakes was completely disgusting, but the reality is not at all! As has already been mentioned, get a flavored oil and it tastes NOTHING like fish. Nothing at all-- I even eat it mixed in with cottage cheese without a problem.
FYI, if your fish oil capsules smell more than mildly fishy, the oil is probably rancid. Nasty. In general, keeping fish oil (liquid or capsules) in the fridge is a good idea. For liquid, it's a must.NFSC Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?p=663053791

If you insist on using oil instead of caps, at least mix it with things that have heavy flavors (like vanilla, mango, or tomato) depending upon whatever you're attempting to make. It masks the flavor without adding significant calories and stops you from having that nasty burping later.
