How long untill you start losing strength/muscle from gym?

Ment to put title as "How long untill you start losing strength/muscle from not going gym?"

Last Monday was my chest/tri day and i couldn't get to the gym so i did what i could at home but it wasnt that much of a workout, Today monday again chest/tri i go to gym to find out that on top of there price increase for the gym a month you have to pay a joining fee again :| so ive missed my proper workout again and went home and did bench tried doing incline but had no spotter so couldn't do that :| and done 2 triceps exercises.

i feel like 2 weeks of no proper workout will make me lose my strength? how long till i start losing strength and size?

You might feel a little weaker but it takes months to start losing muscle mass if your not eating properly.

i broke my hand and was out for 6 weeks. i lost 18 pounds of muscle, but it didn't start until about week 3.

2 weeks isn't anything to worry about

About a month. Some people take 2 or 3 weeks off after a while of working out and actually lift more when they go back.

^^^ Was just gonna say that you really dont lose any muscle mass, its all just in your head. You may look like you lose muscle mass because maybe you gain a little bf% from not lifting, but it really is just mental

You won't actually begin to lose muscle for a long time, I'm talking yeard with poor nutrition and not getting enough protein/eating properly.
You lose strength pretty quickly though unfortunately.
    2 weeks doesn't kill though

They actually did a study in china or something and they made serious lifters stop going to the gym for four months and they lost no strength. It's actually good to take it easy for a while. You end up coming back stronger and more energetic.
