If there was one we would know about him for sure!
A company like muscletech would use him to promote their supps (lets refer to him as X).
"X is a vegetarian bodybuilder but he has no problem reaching his goals and protein and energy needs for the day because cell tech hardcore give him everything he needs to maintain a solid lean physique"[If It Fits Your Macros Crew] - U mad?

haha, so true. I was just discussing this with someone yesterday. You'd think vegetarians would be a good market for supplement companies given how difficult it can be to get proper amounts of protein on that kind of diet (unless you're one of those half ass'ed vegetarians that still eat fish and eggs). Vegans on the other hand are straight up f***'ed...

Every vegan I have ever known is either severely emaciated (not just thin, but appearing malnourished) or very overweight. Every vegan I have ever known also has to smugly rub the fact that they follow a vegan diet/lifestyle in everyone's face at every opportunity. "Oh god, is that Jell-O? I can't eat that! I'm a vegan and gelatin comes from animals." *groan*
I like my former co-worker's take on being a vegetarian: "Basically, you just can't eat anything with an a$$hole."
(sorry for off topic)

Bill Pearl only really turned veggie in the last few years of his career.
I think a person can build a substantial amount of muscle not eating meat but i think that a person wouldn't necessarily be able to reach their genetic potential. I'm ovo-lacto vegetarian myself and find it pretty hard to get enough protein without supplementing. Not impossible though, and I only have a shake a day.I am a singer/songwriter--------->>> www.unkeepable.com

I went out with a vegetarian years ago and she had the perfect body. Tight trim figure and full beautiful breasts, so they are not all "emaciated or fat". Plus I lived with another vegetarian and she had a good figure. I also knew two indian girls who were vegetarians and they were very overweight (lived on a lot of junk food), but a lot of indian women are a bit fat in general so I don't know if the vegetarianism is to blame in their cases.

I think if you took an average sample of omnivores and an average sample of herbivores there would be similar levels of overweight, underweight and normal weight. Not everyone who is vegetarian is health conscious. A couple of my friends are veggie and they are fat as ****.

Sorry, I didn't mean to single out vegetarians or vegans as more unhealthy/fat than omnivores. It's just that there is often an association of vegan-ism/vegetarian-ism with a wholesome, healthy lifestyle that gets rubbed in with the moral/ethical reasons that many people harp on. "I'm not so much against eating animals. I just like to follow like-you-know a healthier lifestyle than most people, okay?" True. I don't know what percentage of their protein intake most people get from whey protein (or perhaps soy protein powders for the vegans). If anything I would think getting that much protein daily from pure whey would be very hard on the digestive system (it is for me at least, to each their own). I have not tried casein or soy as a substitute as I get ample protein for non-supplement sources.
Regarding broscience, I hear so much talk (especially from pros and gurus) about one protein source being better than another for all kinds of bizarre reasons ("Protein uptake from Talapia is X% more effective than free range pheasant! Seabass!"). There may be truth to some of what they say, but I've never been convinced of their "science".
