It's midway through the season (my 1st) an I like the sport and all, but I miss lifting. Idk what to do because I don't want to 'let the team down' or whatever. But hell, I wanna do my own thing.

I'd finish the year out if I were you.
You can lift past high school, but sports end 12th grade.(unless your are going to College for it)
Idk about you but I always feel kind of off after quitting something halfway through.“Man cannot remake himself without suffering, for he is both the marble and the sculptor.” -Alexis Carrel*

Fk wrestling!
I quit wrestling too last month so I could just go to the gym and lift.
Yes, it'll get you in great shape.. But you'll always be cutting or bulking depending on weight class and can't do your own thing Rly. And it's too time-consuming and is hard to lift with and can't follow your own workout schedule.

i had the same issue last year. just stick out the season and lift when you can; youll be happy you stuck it out. wrestling will keep u in amazing shape and you can always lift for the rest of you life. i understand it sucks, but just trudge through it

If you want to quit, quit. The sport's not for everyone; it's not a big deal. I've been thinking about stopping just to focus on getting my degree, because wrestling, boxing, college, and two jobs takes away quite a bit of your energy (and social life).
550/385/655, 285 overhead press, 330 push jerk, 250 weighted dip, 190 weighted pull-up, 413.8 max weighted pull-up, 450 front squat, 365 RFESS, 305 x 2 log press, 400 (per arm) farmer's carry, 370 atlas stone, 31 pull-ups at 247.

You're unlikely to get many unbias opinions on this seeing as you're on a bodybuilding website and you're giving people the choice between lifting and wrestling.
You're far less likely to get injured lifting though, people may flame me for that comment, but I have recently picked up a bad injury training MMA and it will certainly affect my future lifting for a long time and I'm not able to go back to my other favourite sport now (rugby) either. I'm going to have to take up some sh*t like rowing.
