    Unhappy About L arginine

    I just started taking L arginine 500mg in tablet form of solgar brand. Just wondering is it safe to take ?

    Started working out . I thought it would be good to add this supplement in my stack but i hav read many posts people taking 5 to 10 mg during workout so that was the reason i asked wether it is good to take in tablet form with 500mg

    The problem with arginine is most of it is converted to ornithine before you can absorb it. Citrulline however, converts to L-arginine in the body. Citrulline is also an arginase inhibitor, making arginine much more effective.
